About the Market

Kingsbury Drive Community Market is DVCS’s major fund raiser. Income from the market provides most of the money for the operational costs of DVCS and enables us to offer the local community various areas of support and a free, confidential and high quality information service.

The Kingsbury Drive Commmunity Market is held every Sunday between 9.00am and 1.00pm (except La Trobe University's Open Day - 7 August 2016, the 25th December 2016 and the 1st January 2017). Stall Holders sell a large variety of crafts, bric-a-brac, flowers, produce and plants.

To Book a Stall

To book a stall at the Kingsbury Drive Community Market contact DVCS on (03) 9435 8282 between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.  Please advise your name, telephone number, postcode and the product/s you will be selling. Also advise if you wish to hire a trestle table (see trestle table hire information below). You will need to have your credit card ready as we only accept this method of payment. (Note: no refund will be paid if a Stall Holder does not attend.)

You will be issued with a booking number and if you have never had a stall you will be asked to read the following information:

We only have a limited number of casual sites available and once these are allocated no further bookings will be taken.

Please note that there are no power or water facilities.

Christmas Bookings 

Due to the large demand for stalls in November and December, we do not take any new casual bookings during this period. Stallholders must have booked and attended the market three times or more during the year to be eligible to attend during November and December.

Trestle Table Hire

A limited number of trestle tables are available for hire at the market. When booking your site please advise our staff how many you wish to hire. Cost is $10 per table (payable at time of booking) with a $50 deposit per table payable on the day of the market i.e. 1 table = $50 deposit, 2 tables = $100, etc. Your deposit will be refunded when table is returned undamaged.

Market Bags

Market bags are available from our Market Staff. Price $1.00 per bag. Proceeds from sales go back into the community.

Community Stall Information

Every week there is a stall available for community groups to raise funds. Please call (03) 9435 8282 between 9.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday to make a booking. Please read the Community Stall Policy.
