Utility Relief Grant Scheme

Relief grants for paying overdue energy or water bills are available to low-income Victorians experiencing financial hardship.

Winter Gas Concession

Discounts on gas bills are available for eligible concession card holders to help ease the cost of living during the winter months. The concession is available over the winter period of 1 May to 31 October each year.

Telephone Allowance

The telephone allowance helps with the cost of having a phone and internet service in your home. Eligibility is considered when you apply for a Centrelink benefit and the allowance is included with your Centrelink payment. To apply: Contact Centrelink.

Municipal Concession for Pensioners

Pensioners may qualify for a 50% Municipal Concession otherwise known as a Rates Rebate up to $229.40 for the home in which you live in, and a $50 rebate for the Fire Services property Levy.
