Nillumbik Community Bus Service

Two community bus services are provided - The Saturday Community Bus is a bus service is driven by a dedicated team of volunteers in the northern areas of the Shire on Saturdays. The bus travels from Hurstbridge Railway Station to Panton Hill, Smiths Gully, St Andrews, Cottles Bridge and back to Hurstbridge. Pre-bookings are not accepted.  The door-to-door community bus service assists Nillumbik residents to access shops, services and social activities. This service operates on weekdays and is subject to availability.

Multi-Purpose Taxi Program Vouchers

Victorians with permanent or severe disabilities can receive discounted taxi fares. This program gives a 50 per cent discount on taxi fares for permanently and severely disabled people. The discount has a maximum amount per trip and an annual limit.

Link Community Transport

Transport, assisted shopping, Seniors Social Outings Program and domestic help. Indigenous Australian over 50 years of age, Seniors aged 65 and over, People with a disability and their carers, Other Passengers (fee for service). Assisted shopping program is fortnightly at $10 per trip. Seniors Social outings program is a wonderful way to get out and about, meet new friends and enjoy different outings at an affordable price.
