The Queen's Fund
Financial assistance for single women and children in Victoria in emergency situations, including educational assistance. The average grant is $323. Applications must be completed by a qualified case or social worker. Residency in Victoria for a minimum period of 12 months is required. If a client is at imminent risk of eviction or disconnection of utilities or urgently needs funds to secure accommodation grants can be fast tracked. Foodbank and community lunch 5 days per week. Primary Health Care Services. Material Aid: including Myki credit, international calling cards, mobile phones and gift cards to buy household items urgently needed. General Access Program (GAP), and for a range of issues, including homelessness, family violence and social isolation. Case Management, Housing and rental support to those seeking asylum or with refugee status.
